Remembrance Day
Today just before 11am we gathered around the school roundabout to remember all those who lost their lives in World War 1 and other wars.
The roundabout was covered in poppies which the pupils and staff had made. Pupils chose words from different war poems and wrote these on the poppies. Mr Reid gave his address and told us of his great grandfather’s near death experience and how he was saved by the letters he had in his pocket. We then had a short period of remembrance.
