It was a great experience for all the children to show courage to compete, independence when following instructions and a flexibility of mind should things not go to plan! We were very impressed with all the skills we saw, which included making layered pastry cases, using piping bags, home made apple compote and mincemeat, whisking, folding and working to very specific timings and deadlines. Well done to all who took part.  One winner from each year group will go forward into next week's final.
